These instructions are for a BlackBerry Bold (BlackBerry 9000). Though, it may be applied other models with small differencies.
First of all, you should be in an area where eduroam wirless network is available.
Configuration Steps
1. Press the BlackBerry button.
2. Select Manage Connections.
3. Select Set Up Wi-Fi Network.
4. Select Next.
5. Select Scan to search for available networks.
6. If you are asked to enable Wi-Fi, select Turn-On Wi-Fi.
7. Select eduroam (WPA2-Enterprise) (if multiple entries for eduroam are listed, select the one with the best signal).
8. Set Security Type to PEAP.
9. In the User name field, enter your e-mail user name.
10. In the User password field, enter your e-mail password.
11 . From the CA certificate list, select the one that includes “External CA Root” string.
12. Set Inner link security to EAP-MS-CHAP v2.
13. Select Connect from the buttons at the bottom of the screen.
From now on, you should be connected to eduroam wireless network. If you want your wireless network to switch from the one that has weak signal level to the one that has better signal level while you move, continue the steps below,
14. From the main menu, choose Manage Connections.
15. Select Wi-Fi Options.
16. Find eduroam on the list and press the BlackBerry button.
17. Select Edit from the menu
18. Scroll down to the bottom and tick Allow inter-access point handover
19. Press the BlackBerry button and tap Save.
20. You are done.
