Eduroam Windows Mobile 7.x Configuration
These instructions are for Windows Mobile 7.x touch phone devices.
First of all, you should be in an area where eduroam wirless network is available.
Configuration Steps
1. Select Settings -> Wi-Fi
2. Ensure Wi-Fi Networking is set to On.
3. Choose eduroam from the list of available networks.
The device will then try to connect to the eduroam network. At the User Logon page.
4. Enter your e-mail user name in the User name box.
5. Enter your e-mail password in the Password box.
6. Select done, the device will then configure itself.
From now on, you should be connected to eduroam wireless network.
Note: Unlike earlier versions of Windows Mobile, there is no option to set the correct security settings. Thus, Auto-configuration may not protect you agains network attacks.
